How to use these tools well
Calculators turn standard formulas into quick estimates. They are useful for tracking trends and starting conversations with your clinician, but they cannot diagnose a condition or replace an examination. Where a formula is known to be less accurate for some groups — for example BMI in very muscular people, or age-based heart-rate maximums — we say so next to the result.
Your entries stay on your device. Tools that save information, such as the blood pressure log, symptom journal and medication schedule, use your browser's local storage, so clearing your browser data deletes them.
