Pregnancy is counted from the first day of your last period, about two weeks before conception, so at conception you are already considered “two weeks pregnant”.

How is a due date calculated?
The standard method adds 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of your last menstrual period, adjusted if your cycles are longer or shorter than 28 days. From a known conception date, it adds 266 days.
How accurate is my due date?
It is an estimate. Most babies are born within about two weeks either side of it. An ultrasound in the first trimester gives the most accurate dating, and your care team may adjust your due date after it.
